Fall in love with Restorative

Our summer online Restorative series is coming to a close.

We explored the why’s of postures that we often don't have time to discuss in class. In these posts, we looked at the physical benefits of these shapes, alternative use of props to support the posture, and ways to recreate the shapes in a home practice without props.

Additionally, we explored the benefits and some basic mindfulness practices. Mindfulness and it's concepts like breathwork and sensory engagement are fundamental to the restorative process. These practices can also be valuable self-care practices that help us restore mental balance. 

In-Person Restorative

Our in-person classes at Encompass Health and Wellness will soon be back to more regular programming for the fall. Space is limited be sure to reserve your mat ahead of time.
